Terms of Service

1. Eligibility: adults 18 and over only

Wasavi is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to join the waitlist, create an account, or use the service. Accounts may not be created for, or shared with, anyone under 18. You may add information about household members, including children, to help you manage your household, but you remain the only person using the account. We may close any account we reasonably believe belongs to or is used by someone under 18.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must have the right to share any information you enter about other people, and you are responsible for obtaining any permission required to do so.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Wasavi for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent
• Use Wasavi to contact, message, or collect information from anyone under 18
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone
• Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the service's security or operation
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service

4. AI-generated output

Wasavi uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and take actions you request. AI-generated output can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Review important information yourself before relying on it. Wasavi is not a medical, legal, or financial advisor. Do not rely on it for medication, health, or safety decisions. It is not a substitute for professional judgment.

Wasavi is not an emergency or crisis service. No one at Wasavi monitors conversations, and messages to the assistant do not reach any person. If someone is in danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis in the United States, call or text 988.

The AI models are run for us by Amazon Web Services on Amazon Bedrock. Our Privacy Policy explains what AWS does and does not do with your requests.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wasavi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

7. Termination

You may stop using Wasavi and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

8. Dispute resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at privacy@wasavi.ai and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. [Dispute resolution mechanism, such as courts or arbitration, to be finalized with counsel.]

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to section 8, any action will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will update the date above and notify you before they take effect. Continuing to use Wasavi after that means you accept the updated terms.
